I did not forget about my blog, ya'll. =) Something Very Unfortunate happened to my parent's computer, which means that they now use mine. As much as I am an advocate for sharing (this being when surrounded by Kevin's three hellish nieces and nephew and one microphone for Rockband), I do not enjoy sharing my computer with the family. Not only is my entire private life (recorded in various e-journals for the last--say--9 years) there for them to find if they so happened to search, but I can't work on my novel as much. This makes me sad. As much as I enjoy handwriting, I have very terrible penmenship and I write so...damn....slow. Bleh!

However, it does leave me loads of time to study my pharmacy. Hooray.

On to my new topic: Rockband.

Kevin and I bought the little nieces and nephew (and their parents, apparently), Guitar Hero (World Tour--two guitars) for Christmas. To be honest, I am surprised the guitars lasted as long as they did (three weeks-ish?). The other day, one of them, unable to burden the relentless beating it recieved by said hellish children, finally broke down and died. The game was thus returned and Rockband subsequently purchased.

I really really really miss Guitar Hero.

Rockband would be fun if it was not for the three screaming children all vying for the microphone to sing. This might seem tolerable, however, two of those children cannot read. Therefore, I had to endure the awful sound of two four-year-olds screaming, humming, and otherwise just making up random words and unintelligable noises, into a microphone with the sound jacked all the way up.

Migraine, anyone?

Nevertheless, Kevin and I are going to go ahead and stick with Rockband when we get our own system (a Wii, I think). He likes playing the drums. I also think its healthy for him to hit things other than me....

Just kidding. ^_^

PS: I give this game two weeks tops before the drums collapse and the guitar falls to pieces, screaming for mercy.
